Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders promptly and accurately.

  • Provide recommendations on menu items and inform customers about any specials or promotions.

  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.

  • Ensure that all food and beverages meet quality standards before serving.

  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service.

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.

  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Hotel Management / Diploma / Degree, with minimum 3 yrs of relevant experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate a diverse, high-quality wine pairing recommendations.
  • Conduct wine talks & wine tasting sessions.
  • Offer expert wine recommendations and conduct tastings.
  • Manage inventory and organize the wine cellar.
  • Train staff on wine service and knowledge.
  • Stay updated on wine trends and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Engage with guests and handle inquiries.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and participate in marketing activities.


Qualifications

  • Extensive wine knowledge and relevant certification (WSET or Court of Master Sommeliers).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • 2 years of experience as a Sommelier.
